(i.e. searching for who signs your Real Estate contracts)

1.

Open the President's Delegation Library website in a new window:

President's Delegation Library: Delegations Search

Then, Click on:

SEARCH

The person authorized to sign your contract should be on the first row when the screens opens up.

2.

Click the Box next to AUTHORITY

Type in FN11 for Use Agreements (University as Landlord-University facilities)

OR

Type in FN12 for Lease Agreements (University as tenant – Hotel Conferences etc.)

If you cannot get to the site, please call Janet Kendra at 612-624-1509.

If Janet Kendra is unavailable and help is needed ASAP, call Denise Mazone (612-626-3445) or Ginger DeRosier (612-626-2231) at the Real Estate Office.

On the DELEGATIONS SEARCH User Lookup, click on:

AUTHORITY TYPE

Scroll down to select Signature Authority.

 

Note: Do not fill out the boxes for Delagator or Delegatee.

4.

On the DELEGATIONS SEARCH User Lookup, click on:

UNITS

A small window opens up. Type the name of your Department or Unit (e.g. Liberal Arts or Social Work; do not type College of or School of).

If many units come up under your department, scroll down to click on your unit. Otherwise, click on your department. The small window will close as you click on it.
